This is a lightpost in Durham, England. My flatmate lives in Durham, and on the way to her house, we were walking past this lightpost, and she casually says, "this is the lightpost that inspired C.S. Lewis's lightpost in The Chronicles of Narnia". Wait! What?! Yes, this is behind the Durham Cathedral, right on the River Wear. So, there ya go!
